Have you ever experienced theatre? I mean really experienced it?
I’m not talking about the kind of night where you buy a ticket, grab a bite to eat, sit through a two-hour show, laugh idly, and then head home thinking about tomorrow’s to-do list.
I’m talking about getting completely viscerally wrapped up in an alternate reality. Where all five of your senses are startled awake, and your body becomes a part of the story. Where your mind stands at attention, even while your thoughts sneak around corners and peer under the furniture. Where, when the lights come up, you stumble out onto a street you don’t recognize anymore.
Having just sampled some of the features under construction for our upcoming show, I think The Golden Dragon is going to be that kind of experience. A complete experience.
